Mobile Check Deposit

We heard loud and clear from our customers that they wanted a more convenient way to deposit checks. With no physical branches, depositing a check meant either mailing it in or transferring the funds from another account. I wanted to create a simple, innovative experience for mobile check deposits

The first entry point for mobile check deposits is from the floating action button. The customer can see their daily and monthly remote deposit limits from here as well.

Our mobile check deposit experience takes you straight to capturing the check images, rather than making you fill out a form first. This is different from most mobile check deposit experiences, and it's designed to make the process faster and more convenient.

In the design process, we asked ourselves why put the customer through all of the taps of entering the deposit amount when the middleware image capture experience is going to read the amount from the check anyway?

After the image capture experience, the customer is taken directly to a review and confirm page, where they can see the amount of the check populated from what was read off the images. In the small chance that the amounts don't match, the customer has the ability to edit the amount. This experience allows for the whole process of depositing a check to be done simply and securely in as little as 3 taps.
